CHRISTMAS AND EPIPHANY FAIR IN PALMA
The Nadal i Reis Fair in Palma is held from the 26th of November until the 6th of January in several streets of Palma de Mallorca, with 132 stalls of items that vary depending on the area visited.
In the Plaza Mayor you will find stalls where you can buy all kinds of figurines for your Nativity Scene. In Via Roma you will find stalls dedicated to gastronomy and along the Ramblas you will find stalls dedicated to handicrafts.
In Porta Pintada and Plaza de España you will also find stalls selling crafts, jewellery and accessories, as well as some with food..
FLEA MARKET AT VI REI WINERY
The Vi Rei winery is located in Llucmajor, one of the earliest areas of Mallorca to be settled and also one of the first areas where the Romans planted vines.
Currently, these wineries offer guided tours throughout the year where you can learn about the production processes and enjoy tastings where you can discover their wines.
This Christmas, Bodegas Vi Rei is organising its first Christmas market from the fourth to the seventh of January, where you can find different stands with gifts, snacks and, of course, wine.
SWEDISH CHURCH CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
he Swedish church in Mallorca has been running a popular Christmas market for more than thirty years during the last days of November, making it one of the most important events in the run-up to Christmas.
At this flea market you can find typical Swedish Christmas decorations such as Father Christmas figurines, candlesticks, stars, postcards and garlands. There are also all kinds of gift items such as handicrafts, candles and fabrics.
The bazaar also has a tombola and lotteries, not forgetting the gastronomy. The Christmas Bazaar at the Swedish church is the best opportunity to enjoy traditional Swedish recipes such as the Christmas bread, gingerbread, cakes and Jansson’s Temptation, a gratin of potatoes, onions and anchovies.
Of course, you can also enjoy Glög, a typical Swedish Christmas mulled wine.
CHRISTMAS MARKET IN SANTA PONSA
The Santa Ponsa Christmas Market is held from the 27th of November to the 19th of December and has a traditional German atmosphere, with wooden stalls decorated with lights where you can buy all kinds of gifts and enjoy the best German gastronomy, washed down of course with Glühwein; the typical German mulled wine.
At this flea market you can find all kinds of gifts, from typical Christmas products to second-hand goods, books and toys.
CHRISTMAS MARKET ALARÓ
Alaró is a very pretty village in the south of the Tramuntana mountain range, close to Palma de Mallorca. It has interesting old architecture and narrow cobbled streets that give you the opportunity to discover and enjoy the charm of a traditional Mallorcan village.
The Alaró Christmas market is a good excuse to get to know the village and enjoy a charming Christmas market where you will find all kinds of sweets and gifts. This market is held on 11th and 12th December in the square in front of the church of Alaró.
CHRISTMAS MARKET IN ES PILARI
There is Christmas market in the square and parish of Es Pilari on 21st and 22nd December where you can find numerous stalls with handmade products where you can buy a unique and original gift for Christmas.
As well as enjoying the market in the courtyard of the parish church, children will be able to enjoy different activities such as children’s workshops, entertainment and live performances.
PUERTO PORTALS, “CHRISTMAS MARKET”
The Christmas Market in Puerto Portals is considered one of the best in Europe thanks to its unique atmosphere and cultural activities for all ages.
From 16 December to 6 January, you can enjoy this market inspired by the typical Central European Christmas markets. You’ll love the wooden stalls decorated with garlands of lights and fir trees, where you can buy all kinds of products to decorate your Christmas tree and all kinds of traditional gastronomic delicacies to savour.
