DEIA
The winding streets and stone houses, located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Tramuntana, ensure this village’s status as one of the most beautiful in Mallorca.
Visiting it is simple, just walk uphill to its highest point. During your tour it’s worth visiting the church of San Juan Bautista, the exhibition with an exclusive collection by the artist Joan Miró and its viewpoint with beautiful panoramic views of the natural environment.
A few minutes from the village is Cala Deia (tour of Mallorca’s coves), an enchanting cove where rocks dot the crystal-clear waters. Next to it is a small port.
SÓLLER
Considered one of the most charming towns in Spain, you only have to walk through its historic centre to discover the reason for its renown. Much of the architecture of the place is the work of Joan Rubid, a disciple of Gaudí, and highlights include the neo-Gothic church of San Bartomeu and the bank of Sóller.
It is located in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana, and is therefore a main starting point for lovers of hiking and mountaineering. However you can also enjoy the beaches, such as Puerto de Sóller, d’en Repic beach and Cala Tuent.
It is a small paradise where you can enjoy the mountains, the sea, exquisite cuisine and a rich heritage replete with monuments and museums. A rolling landscape, immersed in tradition and adorned with the famous orange trees of Sóller.
CAPDEPERA
This is located at the eastern end of Mallorca, allowing you to see Menorca on a clear day, especially from its imposing lighthouse where the best views are to be had. The surroundings are distinguished by a mountainous landscape and beautiful coves where it is possible to do a host of activities.
Capdepera is dominated by an imposing mediaeval fortress, the Castell de Capdepera, which dates back to the 14th century. In May there is a famous medieval market, giving the sensation that time has stood still in the village.
VALLDEMOSSA
Only 18 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca and located on the lower slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana, Valldemossa seduces its visitors thanks to its beautiful natural environment. So much so that it is often mentioned in lists of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
Monuments such as the Monasterio de la Real Cartuja and the Ermita de la Santísima Trinidad are well worth a visit. Special mention should go to the beautiful viewpoint of Ses Puntes, from where you can see one of the island’s most magical sunsets.
Exploring its meandering streets is a must; hidden-away spots have a picture-postcard quality, which explains why painters have been coming here in search of inspiration for years. You can finish your walk by sampling some of the typical Mallorcan dishes, such as arròs brut.

BANYALBUFAR
The secluded village of Banyalbufar has not lost any of its charm, so much so that it seems untouched by time. This area was cultivated in the 10th century by the Arabs, who built a system of aqueducts for irrigation and their charming houses on the slopes that can still be seen today.
It is unmistakeably a fishing village, and it still has its port, Es Port des Canonge. This is in addition to the numerous coves and beaches for enjoying the quiet atmosphere, among which Cala Banyalbufar, Es Corral Fals and Son Bunyola stand out.
Nestled in the mountains and with the high peaks of the Sierra de Tramuntana in the background, it is perfect for getting to know authentic Mallorcan culture. It is famous for growing the Malvasia grape, so visits to the bodegas, such as Celler Ca’n Pico and Bodega San Vives, are one of the best things to do.
ALCUDIA
Alcudia is known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, its delicious gastronomy and its beaches. There is history in the air here. With the historic centre surrounded by majestic mediaeval and Renaissance walls, the Camí de Ronda allows you to explore them from the inside, and even climb them to enjoy the views.
The town stands out for its fine houses, especially the Library of Ca’n Torró, its monuments and the sites of Roman settlement. In addition, the Port of Alcudia is one of the most important of the island, with a wide range of leisure, retail, dining and water activities. A place where the past and modernity coexist in perfect harmony.
ARTÁ
The tradition and antiquity of this charming village are still notable today as they coexist in perfect harmony with its more modern look. A slow pace of life with timeless rural charm that invites you to stroll its streets and explore its hidden corners.
Discovering its architecture and monuments is a must, but its main attractions are the 25 beaches and coves scattered along its coastline. All of them preserve their natural state, offering havens of peace to disconnect from the hustle and bustle.
SANTANYÍ
Nestled in a privileged spot, with the second-largest natural park in the Balearic Islands, the Natural Park of Cabrera, on one side, and on the other a coastline over 48 kilometres in length. Perfect for exploring its many footpaths or relaxing on beaches with crystal clear waters, it’s a paradise for diving enthusiasts.
It’s a place marked by piracy, as reflected in the remains of the fortified wall. Walking through its streets and discovering its monuments is another of its attractions – the beauty and peace of the place make it a destination chosen by art lovers seeking inspiration.
FORNALUTX
Fornalutx is one of the best-preserved villages in Spain, with monuments in perfect condition such as its Gothic church dating back to 1639 and its 17th-century defensive tower.
However, the real pleasure of this place is to lose yourself in its streets to revel in its authenticity. The most characteristic streets are Carrer Esglesia, Carrer de Sant Sebastiá and Carrer del Metge Mayol, to name just a few. Picture-postcard images.

POLLENSA
A visit to the island is not complete without seeing Pollensa. Famous for its dizzying cliffs, lush forests, idyllic beaches and rich heritage. Nature lovers can enjoy the Natural Reserve of L’Albufera or Cala Murta and for those who love history, a visit to the Calvario, a highly picturesque place, is a must.
Stroll through its historic centre to discover its imposing monuments, such as the Santo Domingo Convent, and taste its most traditional dishes in the plaza mayor of Pollença. And that’s not all: its beaches provide access to a rich and varied seabed, perfect for scuba diving.
PORTOCOLOM
This is a traditional fishing village with one of the most picturesque and beautiful harbours in Mallorca. It exudes personality and romance thanks to the fact that, despite tourism, it has managed to preserve its essence.
The most typical picture-postcard image of Portocolom is its waterfront view of local boats and fishing boats, with the colourful facades in the background. Touring its coastline by boat, discovering its coves, such as Cala Marcal, strolling through its streets and tasting its cuisine will be enough to ensure you fall in love with the place.
